What:  This training will focus on the soft skills that prepare the participant to be able to train their employees at the different monitor levels and officially designate the M1 & M2 positions. Individuals who pass all qualification requirements will be awarded an MT (Monitor Trainer) designation.


Who: This training is designed for those qualified staff and supervisors that will be responsible for training of employees at their own adventure course. THIS COURSE IS NOT DESIGNED TO TEACH EQUIPMENT USAGE, THE EXPECTATION IS THAT ALL APPLICANTS ALREADY HAVE A STRONG GROUNDING IN THEIR PARKS’ EQUIPMENT.

Pre-Requisites of a Monitor Trainer:

·         Individuals must be at least 21 years of age;

·         Minimum of 2 years and 800 hours of professional experience as a certified M2 (or equivalent High Ropes Course experience);

·         Current certification as a M2 (or equivalent High Ropes Course experience);

·         The ability to train and assess others in categories M1 - M2;

Costs: $899pp. Includes 4 days of training and testing. Lodging, travel, and all food should be coordinated by attendees themselves - airport and hotel suggestions will be provided.
